As Security Director, I am responsible for making sure attendees and artists are safe throughout the event. I work closely with UMPD and ProTeam to ensure everyone has a fun and safe time. Protocol for the day of an event involves the placement of signage around the venue for the attendees and proper training for ProTeam. These protocols change by event and the expected number of attendees, especially the bag policy. Depending on the event, students may or may not bring large bags (backpacks, tote bags, etc.). We enforce this policy to control what attendees bring to the venue for the safety of everyone. To stay up-to-date with our security information for each event, please check our website or social media accounts. If the event is ticketed, you will receive an email detailing the rules for the event.
Great insights into event security—it's all about proactive planning and adapting based on crowd and context. That same mindset applies to real estate too. In high-growth zones like Dholera Smart City, smart planning around infrastructure, accessibility, and safety is what drives long-term value and livability. It's all in the details, just like a well-run event.
