JOHN
MULANEY

Since starting his career as an office assistant at Comedy Central, John Mulaney has become a comedic powerhouse. His writing pitches and comedic partnership with Nick Kroll landed him in the Saturday Night Live writer’s room in 2008, where he helped create iconic characters such as the beloved “Stefon.” In the years following, Mulaney built a reputation as a standout stand-up, releasing seven TV specials between 2009 and 2023. His latest, John Mulaney: Baby J (2023), was described as shockingly-raw and sharply-funny. From 2015 to 2022, Mulaney wrote critically acclaimed episodes on the mockumentary series Documentary Now! alongside names such as Bill Hader and Seth Meyers. Most recently, in May of 2024, Mulaney hosted his talk show John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA, which aired on Netflix and highlighted guests around Los Angeles, including Jerry Seinfeld and Will Ferrell.

Between specials and tours, Mulaney was seen performing his comedy play Oh, Hello on Broadway, making memorable cameos in various shows and movies, and winning several writing awards. His storytelling talent has earned him two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Special—first for his stand-up tour Kid Gorgeous in 2018 and again for John Mulaney: Baby J in 2023. Currently, Mulaney is on the road with his latest tour, John Mulaney: In Concert.
