28th Annual Terp Trot 5K Race

Time/Location:
9:00am
The race will start from the Stamp Student Union, weave through beautiful parts of campus, and end at City Hall.The course is paved and has some small hills.
5K AWARDS AND PRIZES:
Trophies will be awarded to the overall first male and female finishers, first place male and female University of Maryland student, and the top male and female finishers in each of the following age categories (no duplicate awards):
14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
EXTRAS:
T-shirts will be given to all pre-registrants and to day of registrants (while supplies last). The finish line celebration will include a DJ, refreshments, food, and door prizes at City Hall.
PARKING AND DIRECTIONS TO STAMP STUDENT UNION:
Free Parking is available in Lot Z of the University campus. From Lot Z follow walking signs to the Stamp Student Union. Parking for people with disabilities is available in Union Lane Parking Garage. There will also be free shuttle bus service back to the Stamp Student Union from the finish line. Mail-in registration forms must be postmarked by October 3, 2008.
Walk-up Registration: The Ticket Office is open 11:30am- 9:00pm, Monday-Friday. Fill out the registration form and pay at the ticket window. The Ticket Office will open at 7:30am day of race.
The Stamp Student Union maintains a policy of NO REFUNDS for any of its sponsored activities UNLESS THE ACTIVITY IS CANCELLED. According to University business procedures, refunds are made between six and eight weeks after the date of cancellation.
